At 86,000 miles I have used about 1,791 gallons of gasoline with my Prius. Compared to 4,095 I would have used with my old Subaru Legacy or Audi A4. On Tuesday my weekly prescription of Prednisone ran out and I was feeling pretty good, but by later that day I knew I was in trouble again. I noticed that those areas which seemed to be clearing up were becoming red and irritated so I went back to the doctor this morning. Another week of Prednisone and steroid cream. Fun. Hopefully this will take care of it.
This year’s birthday was similar to last year’s because I was not home for my actual birthday. I was in San Francisco for work and stayed the weekend for the SF Hash House Harriers event “Bay to Blackout” which coincided with the 100th running of the “Bay to Breakers” 12K.
