I’ve been playing around with some apps to map my home and have been using Scaniverse lately. So far it’s been pretty useful in mapping. It’s been useful to see the layout in 3D to visualize how the floors overlap and how my upper bedroom (very messy when testing) sits over the porch.

My old 1921 home, like many of its age, has floors that aren’t perfectly level. My upstairs bedroom, which sits above the front porch, settled slightly after the house was built, but none of the previous owners addressed the issue in the ensuing century. My home was built in 1921 so whenever I do any remodeling the demolition process often allows for the discovery of items from that era. This time it was schoolwork done around that time by one of children of the home named Lora. I believe that I was able to find the person who did this homework after getting all of the historical data on my home with Spokane County historical records. Additional items found.
