Well, I’m downloading my archived info from FaceBook and deleting my account. While FB is a great way to keep in touch with family and friends I struggle with the ability to not comment on posts with which I disagree. This has caused trouble for me, my family and some of my friends. Since I cannot seem to keep my mouth shut (i.e. fingers from typing) I feel this is the best solution. Today our department had a potluck lunch. Typically potluck meals are not my favorite places to eat, but this lunch may have changed my mind. There were many vegetarian dishes made and all of those were extremely delicious. I appreciate my coworkers and their healthy meal choices.

This past weekend was great! I went for a motorcycle ride with friends up to Bartlett Lake after a stop in Cave Creek for some breakfast. Here is a photo of our stop at the lake. I’ve used WP for quite a few other sites and after getting tired of using iWeb and manually managing the process for a few years now I have decided to utilize WP for the KleinPad! Migrating my blog info from 1997 was a pain in butt because none of the automated tools worked. Well, we’ll see how it goes!
At 86,000 miles I have used about 1,791 gallons of gasoline with my Prius. Compared to 4,095 I would have used with my old Subaru Legacy or Audi A4. That is a savings of 2,304 gallons of gasoline or about $6,912 in fuel savings at $3.00 per gallon (Prius also takes regular and my others took premium). This year has gone by so far so fast. I’m now on vacation in Rapid City, South Dakota visiting family, friends and checking out my old home town. The vacation started out with an all school reunion at my old high school, Saint Martin’s Academy. The local catholic diocese recently purchased the school from the Benedictine Nuns who ran it for many, many years and have converted the high school into the new grade school, added a new retreat…
