Update… 10/28/2000

Well, Just returned from a business trip to NYC and Chicago. We were able to spend time with our cousins (Belinda, Richard and RJ Levychin). I went to the 2000 Internet World at the Javitz Center and Kisha and Belinda hung out.

We then went to Chicago for a meeting and had some Portillos food.

This coming week we’ll be heading to Seattle for Masons baptism.

Thanksgiving is coming and up and the Levychins are coming out from NY. We’re then going up to Las Vegas to see Uncle Prince and Aunt V. Rick is coming out from Los Angeles and we should have a great holiday.

Update… 9/08/2000

Didn’t think that it would be this long. In five months we’ve done quite a bit.

In May Kisha and I went to New York for my birthday. We went to the David Letterman show (thanks to Belinda) and also to Comedy Central’s Daily Show. We took a double decker bus tour and learned the subway system quite well.

In June we went to Germany for a few weeks. Actually, Kisha was a chaperon for a high school group from Rapid City, SD. She stayed in Apolda, Germany for a week. I was lucky enough that the Expo 2000 was going on in Hannover, Germany and was able to stay in Apolda and travel to the Expo instead of having to stay in Hannover. Our host families were great. We initially stayed with Renate,Jurgen Rechenbach and their son Christian in Apolda. We then stayed with Martin, Silke, Sina and Rene’ Vollrath in Munchengossenstadt. It was wonderful to be able to live with German families and be a part of their lives as they were a part of ours. Apolda is a wonderful city and we had a super time there. We are still in the process of uploading images of our trip there. Check the “Pictures” page often for updates.

After I was in Germany for a week I went to Leamington Spa, England for work. We are working with MarketingNet Inc. on one of our projects.

In July we went to South Dakota for a family reunion. All of the Klein family was there minus one 🙁 . We have photos from our time there on Shutterfly.com. If you would like access to these pictures let me know. We put on 3000 miles in 5 days. What a trip.

Since July the only one that is traveling is me (Darin). I went with work to: Vancouver, BC; San Diego, CA; and Chicago, IL. It looks like my work raveling will calm down for at least a month or two.

Also, we moved in August from Chandler, AZ to Tempe, AZ. We miss Brad, but it is time that we have our own space and we’re closer to school and work.

Update… 4/09/2000

April Already, can’t believe how quickly winter passes. It’s in the 90s already and looking to be a hot summer.

Went to Internet World last week in LA with my coworker Chris and had an excellent time. It’s amazing at how many companies are all trying to sell the same idea. Of course they all have their own twist on what is best and why we should buy theirs. Saw some great new technologies also with a hope that they don’t all get bought out by Microsoft.

Well, it’s off to sleep. Big week coming up.

February is so wintery in Phoenix. NOT! I love it here!

Motorola is fine and Kisha is doing well in school at ASU.

Our new dog, Ruthie, is doing great. Her and Baxter get along like they grew up together. See Pictures

We’re still alive here in Phoenix! I hope none of you bought supplies thinking that you would need them to survive. We played it safe without going overboard. Only bought a few more gallons of water than usual. Hope you all had a super holiday season and look forward to your success this coming year.
