2009: October and November
Above is the new bridge around the Hoover Dam. It has been quite a construction project so far and I can’t wait for it to be completed!
October and November have been fun months. I helped a few friends move from one place to another, hiked, biked, ran around the city with my hasher friends (www.phoenixhhh.org), went to Los Angeles to see friends, went to Las Vegas for a really fun Red Dress Run for the Hash House Harriers group up there. Imagine over 200 people in red dresses running through the streets. What a fun time!
November has been an interesting month and I hope it will become less interesting so I can get life back to more of a normal pace.
This week brings a concert and running and biking so there is more to come! UPDATE: The concert was friggin’ amazing and I love “The Swell Season” even more! If you haven’t seen the movie “Once” you should and enjoy the music and the great story.
I went back to Indiana (No! I am not from there.) for Thanksgiving to see my family who now lives there. It was a fantastic six days with my parents, siblings and their families. On the Saturday of my visit I took my sister and her husband hashing with the Hash House Harrier group out of Indianapolis. We had a really great time and I hope that they can continue to go. My brother’s youngest son is a super hockey player so we went to watch his tournament that weekend and he did really well. I uploaded some of the videos to youtube.
Back in AZ now to play with the pups, hash, relax, work and play.
Eat right and live right!
Onto December!
