We adopted / fostered Ruthie for a friend who needed help. One Friday we drove from Phoenix to north of San Francisco to pick her up. We took Baxter along in the Montero and met her, then took her and Baxter to Golden Gate State Park where they were able to play on the beach. Baxter hadn’t seen the ocean before so this was quite the experience for him.

Ruthie stayed with us for a couple years until her human was able to get back on her feet. It was a very difficult day when Ruthie left us, but she was back with her forever family.
